Summary
Dean loves his brother and he'd do anything for him. Well, it's how he had felt before he had to book a flight to make it to his graduation on time. He's on the verge of a panic attack when a friendly stranger offers some distraction. (Inspiration struck when I was flying across the country. Most of this was written in the air for added authenticity.)
Excerpt:
Dean tipped his empty glass, “Thanks for that. I’m not usually this much of a wuss.” He glanced up and down the aisle before saying, “Hey, so I’ve always wondered, you know, since you’re so well-travelled… is the mile-high club a real thing, or is that just in the movies?”
Castiel tilted his head, “I’m not familiar with the term.”
Dean shrugged, “You know, getting busy on the plane. You ever…?”
“Oh!” Castiel chuckled as he shook his head, “No, no. I certainly haven’t. I typically travel alone anyway.”
“Well, isn’t that the point? Going for people you’re never gonna see again, getting a little kick out of the worst part of vacation?”
“I can see why that might appeal to some.” -

Summary
While on a run-of-the-mill hunt, Dean falls under a spell (and in love), which could mean big trouble for the world as they know it down the road. To avert catastrophe, Castiel alters the spell's effect with less-than-desirable consequences for Dean.
Excerpt:
“Hey, how was the date?” Dean’s cheeks were flushed and he immediately sidled over to the kitchenette where he held onto the back of a chair. Sam got up from where he was sitting on the bed and came over to him, “Hey, are you alright? You don’t look so good.”
Dean looked up at him blankly before he gave him a small smile, saying quietly, “Sammy… I think I’m in love.”
Sam actually took a step back from the bombshell Dean had just dropped, “W-what? Dude, you barely know this girl.”
“I know enough. And man, she’s my dream girl.”
“And what happened to taking it slow?”
“We are! It’s just… I dunno, she’s somethin’ else.”
Dean’s eyes seemed to go out of focus as his mind wandered and Sam snapped, “Dean, I’m sorry, but you, of all people… falling head-over-heels in two days? Sounds a little too Romeo & Juliet to end well.” -

Excerpt:
Cas was unfiltered in detailing his new human experience, and he remained that way when they ventured into more intimate territory. It thrilled Dean like nothing else when Cas asked for exactly what he wanted and openly enjoyed it without a lifetime of social conditioning to make him hesitate. In that way, Cas was completely unpredictable. Dean didn’t think he could ever get bored with Cas.98% smut, 2% other.
Post-Season 8. Human!Cas.

Summary
After the angels have fallen, Sam fails to recover from the illness caused by the trials and dies. Dean takes the newly-human Castiel in and works with him, Kevin and Charlie, determined to make Metatron pay for misleading them and manipulating them. Meanwhile, Sam is back in heaven and is reunited with other fallen hunters and works with them to find Metatron and bring him down from the inside.
Excerpt: Dean grabbed Sam’s ankle, the only part of him he could reach in the room crowded with medical staff, hoping that somehow Sam could feel him and try muddle through the darkness back towards him and into consciousness. He stared at his eyes, almost willing them to open, but they didn’t... He remembered Naomi’s words as they echoed in his head- If Sam completes those trials, he is going to die. It was always God’s intention. The ultimate sacrifice... The steady tone still coming from the heart monitor brought Dean back to the present and he peered back into the room as the doctor tried twice, three times more to jump start Sam’s heart. Dean could hardly breathe as he waited for the monitor to start beeping again, but it just wouldn’t change from that endless, eternal tone.
