Summary
21 years after the events of Yesterday's Lie, Luz was simply going about her normal routine. Well, as normal as you could call a human living a witch's life. Then again, she considered herself human by technicality only. She was a full-on witch now, and the life she might have had in the human realm was part of the past she worked tirelessly to forget.
So, you can imagine her frustration and bewilderment when she is suddenly made responsible for a human boy trapped on the Boiling Isles. She'll never know the reason why she decided to help him get to a home which she never could.
