Summary
This question kept nagging me: What if Darrow never escaped the Jackal's table? What would the world be like? Who would still be alive?
Darrow dies at the hands of the Jackal, Virginia goes on to forge that alliance with the Sovereign to get back in the good graces of Society. She marries Cassius who agrees to help protect her son, and pass him off as Cassius's own. Semi-short fic about Cassius as a father and his contemplation of the world without Darrow.

Summary
When Mustang comes knocking on Darrow's door late at night before they move against Pliny, he isn't sleeping, or planning, or doing anything remotely useful. He's sitting in a pleasureChamber, doing absolutely everything in his power to stop thinking about her. She takes the opportunity to mess with him, and to maybe finally get some answers.
A slightly hornier, slightly more optimistic replacement for Golden Son's chapter 33: "A Dance".

Summary
Since he was a boy in the backwaters of South Pacifica, Trigg ti Nakamura has only ever wanted to do good and be good.
Aja au Grimmus stole that dream from him. The Rising has given him a chance to reclaim it.
To cleanse the blood on his hands, he knows he must risk his life and well-being for the cause—even if it means leaving the ones he loves most behind.
⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯
Trigg lives. That's it, that's the fic. Pierce Brown, quit burying your gays. Will hopefully cover all of Morning Star from new points-of-view. If I ever get that far, it'll go into Iron Gold, where the real big changes happen.Bookmarked by Workbench

Summary
Darrow just barely escaped Atlas and his Gorgons unscathed. Still, what almost happened to him is enough to bring back ugly memories. Even in the Waste of Ladon, the Jackal always lurks around.
(Set in Dark Age, starting after the end of Chapter 17: Heliopolis and weaving through the story roughly past Chapter 62: Unremarkable.)
