Summary
This is the one I call 'The Massive Multiplayer Role Reversal Crossover Switcheroo', in which Father is Ed and Al's biological father, and Hohenheim is the recluse hiding under Central, trying to stop his doppelgänger from taking over the world. Hohenheim has his own set of 'good' homunculi, created in the same way as in the '03 anime, to counter Father's homunculi.
Diverging Paths is the main story, showing how the canon storyline might change with Hohenheim and Father's positions reversed but their alignment remaining the same; mainly told from Ed and Al's points of view with occasional chapters detailing what's going on elsewhere when the brothers aren't present. Rocky Road is a prequel/interquel/sequel told from the POV of Hohenheim and his homunculi as they navigate the world around them and get more and more embroiled in the Elrics' lives.
