Summary
Since Emil was 5 years old, he has always dreamt of becoming a mage, just like his mother and father. The boy would rise to the top of the world and shake the very foundations of the magic society.
But that dream quickly shattered when he turned 8. A bright purple light, as beautiful as the wisteria shimmering through the window in the morning light, glowed around his body as he crouched into the corner of the room.
“What is the meaning of this? Why is my son surrounded by dark magic?!”
The screams were unbearable.
“Wait, sweetie, let’s talk about thi-”
“Talk about what?! The fact that you lied to me for over a decade?”
The room shook as fiery sparks of magic cracked through the floor of the house.
That day, two people who had known each other longer than they didn’t let go of one another without a last glance. After that day, Emil promised to himself to never let anybody ever see the true him. This truth, which broke his family apart and would, undoubtedly, break his dreams.
