Summary
“Hey, what’s up, you’ve been quiet.” It hadn’t been unusual for them lately, not when they have spent the last few nights up here in each other's company. It was never on purpose, either, but now Yuuji couldn't imagine the rooftop without the presence of another.
Megumi doesn’t answer right away, his eyes flicking to the sky as if searching for an escape in the constellations. Finally, after what feels like an eternity of hesitation, he speaks. “I don’t fully know how to—to deal with this.” He makes a vague hand gesture. Yuuji raises an eyebrow at him as if trying to coax for context.
“Deal with what?” Yuuji asks.
Megumi turns to him, his usual guarded demeanor slipping just enough. It was shown in how his shoulders dropped, how there was a tenderness to his expression. “With how you have made everything seem so easy. How you—how you make me feel like I’m not alone in all this. Like I actually matter now.”

Where Yuuji and Megumi talk after bubbling in their losses and regrets. Emotions are high, talking is hard, but maybe they both needed this to move forward together.
