Summary
Within the span of minutes, Wriothesley finds himself the de facto leader of the Fortress of Meropide. News travels fast and he has received an invitation from the Chief Justice Iudex of Fontaine, Neuvillette himself. Upon seeing the man for the first time in over a decade, he finds him alluring, gorgeous with an undercurrent of danger. Wriothesley feels a very real pull towards the man and cannot help but be intrigued. One to trust his gut and his best friend Sigewinne he decides to take on the challenge presented by Neuvillette and accept his new “duties.”
