For a second, Alex just stared at him, as if waiting for the punchline. When none came, he burst out laughing, the sound echoing through the empty house.
“Baby,” Alex said, wiping at the corner of his eye. “We’ve been together for five years. We’ve had sex in every state, on every continent – hell, I’m pretty sure we’ve accidentally invented positions. We’ve had sex in planes, hotel rooms and that elevator in Sydney. I think it’s safe to say we don’t need to wait for anything.”
