Summary

Fyodor Dostoyevsky realizes that without Atsushi Nakajima, the "Dazai problem" will sort itself out. So he employs a dangerous time-manipulator to create a domino-effect that means Dazai never joins the Agency and his relationship with Atsushi is severed. And sure enough, the man begins to slowly break down and step towards the edge. But when Atsushi and Dazai both start having flashes of their alternate lives together, they must figure out if it's a sabotage or real before it's too late and Dazai topples over.

He didn’t understand these feelings they confused him and honestly they made him feel a little sick.
Sometimes Dazai would stare back and Atsushi wouldn’t hold his gaze long, breaking it off before his heart jumped too quick.
It started a couple months ago, the looks, he felt the man’s gaze on him more often nowadays but both never said a word.

Summary
Here was the issue that everyone knew about: Atsushi flinched. It was noticeable.
It was just a little jolt, and Atsushi never seemed to be upset. In fact after the initial startle he’d usually lean into the touch. The unspoken office consensus had been that they’d all be gentle but keep up the casual contact until the instinct to react like that went away. Then it never did, and Dazai had figured actual conversation was needed. But not from him obviously. From someone like the President or Kunikida or even Yosano.
Instead his meddling had somehow led to this: the President had called a meeting and announced that as a “team” they would be doing “trust-building exercises” to “improve the overall mental health of the office.”

Once I get that, then I will concede and agree to the truce,” Dazai explains, his gaze much more serious than it was mere moments ago, sending a chill of unease down Atsushi’s spine.
“And what would prove to you that we are to be trusted?”
The smile on Dazai’s face stretches obscenely.
“A kiss.”
Huh?
“From the pretty weretiger.”
again…HUH?!
(Or: 5 times Dazai tricks Atsushi into a kiss and 1 time tricks aren’t needed.)

Summary

Atsushi blinked.
They were in the midst of battle, one with the PM and one that their lives depended on.
They broke in to help Yosano escape Mori's grasp, since the man was quite serious when he said that he'd be keeping her, one way or the other, when all of a sudden, Osamu fell and crumbled like a withered flower.
One burnt to ash and dust.
There was a sweet scent, one of roses and for some reason a bit of rain, as the man collapsed, and he could feel his own mind cloud a bit, but he couldn't quite put his finger on what was going on.

“Did you come just to stare?” The bored drawl startles Atsushi as the man’s head lolls back to look at him with his one unbandaged eye, “Or do you have something to say,” A pause, then a manic grin, “Did you come to kill me, weretiger?”
So this was the boss of the Port Mafia. Not exactly what Atsushi expected.
The Director of the orphanage dies. Atsushi finds someone who can relate. Somehow, a bond is formed.
