It took five minutes of ringing, and a lot of odd looks from passersby wondering why he didn't just answer his choker before Jabber finally folded and accepted the call from none other than- “Enjin,” he groaned, “This better be ‘bout a fight, ‘cause there ain’t no other reason to be calling me.”
Pausing, he let the other man respond as he wandered through the various stalls the city had to offer. He nodded along to whatever he was saying, only really paying attention to every other word the man said before he stopped in his tracks. “What do y’mean you found a sphereite?”
Or, what if Enjin never made it to that well and instead picked up a different stray

Summary
Zanka finally manages to get out of the Cleaner HQ after his fight against Jabber. He immediately hurries to the city market to buy some things so he can finally repair his beloved Assistaff. Once he has gathered everything, he encounters Jabber, who claims to be a Cleaner. Their conversation is bizarre and difficult to understand, so after some arguing, they decide to go to the HQ to get Semiu’s help.

“Based on the size of that shirt I’d say yer either sleepin’ with the boss or the old man. You pick which is worse.”
Tamsy furrowed his brow, hesitating for a second before responding, “The boss.”
“I guess Zanka doesn’t have the worst taste here after all.” He would argue but that was a pretty fair assessment.
Or: Zanka had been hooking up with Jabber for the past few months, but he couldn’t shake the sense of guilt that seemed to follow him after every encounter. That was, until he found out that he’s not the only cleaner with a strange attachment to a raider.
(Basically I thought it would be funny to have some of the cleaner x raider couples stumble across each other at the raiders base)

Summary
There's something unstable, unnameable, and unresolved between them, a shapeless intimacy that neither of them knows how to name without completely distorting it. They've never touched on the subject explicitly, nor do they seem inclined to do so; the bond exists better in the unspoken.
Or: Jabber is used to go to Zanka when he feels like it, and this time, after Jabber dripping blood all over his floor, Zanka takes care of him — in his own way.
