Summary
It’s the year 2036. Fifteen years ago, a very contagious disease broke out. It transformed everyone it infected into a deadly, bloodthirsty, carnivorous creature. Over 90 percent of the world’s population was either turned or killed within a week. The remaining survivors went into hiding, or formed groups to fight the infected. Food and supplies were scarce and therefore, became the new currency. In Gotham, there are four different factions: 1-the encores. A group of anarchists and vandals who loot and rob and kill as they wish. Led by Justin Ambers 2-the freaks. The most desperate of people join this group. In a world where finding food is an almost impossible task, some resort to cannibalism. This group is feared by all for their unpredictability and ruthless tactics to grab people from the streets and take them to their underground hideouts. No information available about the leader. 3-the hive. The most dangerous of them all. Dangerous, relentless, cold-hearted killers who want absolute control over the city. Led by Damien Darhk. 4-the legends. A group of people who try to help everyone they can and bring a sense of normality to their people’s lives. Led by Rip Hunter.

Summary
"Here is everything you need, just please take care of her," Ava says as she gives Sara a baby bag. She looks at the two-month-old baby peacefully sleeping in the stroller, knowing this was the best for her.
Ava leans down to the stroller trying to hold back the tears, she places a soft kiss on her daughter's head "I love you Brooke" she picks up the baby as she rubs her little back.
Sara leaves the baby bag on the floor when Ava hands Brooke to her, she slowly takes the baby who instantly snuggles against her chest "Thank you for doing this Sara. In the year that I come from they are looking for her, she is not safe there. I will be back as soon as I can, I promise"
"It's okay Ava, I will take care of her" Sara replies gesturing to the small bundle in her arms, Ava nods taking a quick look at her daughter before walking out of the room.

Ava needs to leave her daughter with Sara Lance for an indeterminate amount of time while she takes down the Ava Corporation, for her daughter's safety. Little did she know she would end up falling in love with Brooke's temporary guardian.
