Chuuya glared, hand still on the rim.
Each time– every interaction– the man before him grew more and more audacious.

Summary
Since becoming the Slayer at age 15, Chuuya has been through a lot of shit. Now, though, he’s settled down as much as someone like him can—he’s got friends, a cat, and a job at Fukuzawa’s bookstore.
But this relative peace could never last.
A group of wealthy vampires have come searching for a special book, threatening everything Chuuya cares for. In order to protect his found family and home, he’s going to have to go against his very nature to team up with a vampire named Dazai.
“Nice try, creep,” Chuuya pants out. “But you’re gonna have to do better than that. I’ve been slayin’ far longer than you’ve been sticking your sorry little fangs in people’s necks.”
Surprise briefly flickers on the vampire’s face before it dissolves back into nonchalance.
“How do you figure that?”
Chuuya scoffs. It’s just… obvious. His clothing, his speech patterns, even his smell. It isn’t musty enough yet. “I’ve killed vampires hundreds of years older than you. You’ve got newborn written all over you.”
“Chuu-ya,” the vampire whines again. “That isn’t a very nice thing to say.”
A chill runs down Chuuya’s spine. He definitely hasn’t introduced himself.

Summary
Course: Lit 4190 | The art of persuasion, Mon | Wed | Fri, 9:00pm - 10:25pm, Mori’s Manor - Rm 02, Prof. Dazai, Osamu
Shaking his phone to turn on its flashlight, Chuuya walked through the campus, searching for a map. Once he found it, he memorized the steps to Mori’s Manor. He knew when he approached it because of how out of place the structure was. While the rest of the university took on a more modern appearance, this one shot out like a sore thumb. The wallpaper was chipped, the wooden steps were waterlogged, and the entire manor sighed heavily, groaning in the storm. On the bright side, if the building collapsed, the university would be forced to spare him another semester, free of charge, just for compensation.
Maybe then he wouldn’t miss his first class.

Or, Dazai is a professor at a sleepy University in Yokohama who teaches 'the art of persuasion' and Chuuya- a man with way too many secrets that lies tend to blanket him- attends his college course in order to fulfill a grad requirement. But while Chuuya is buried in lies, Dazai was born in it. Gradually, the two find themselves trying to convince the other that the truths they tend to seek out are nothing more than fabrication.Series

Summary
Joining a local gang of orphaned children at the age of thirteen hadn't exactly been Dazai's plan in life, but realistically speaking, it isn't like he has anything better to do, so... Why not?
(There are, of course, many reasons to not do that, but, well. Dazai's boredom is a powerful thing.)

Summary
Best friends is too simple a term to squash the entire dynamic of Dazai Osamu and Nakahara Chuuya within.
Sure, they’ve known each other since they were children, and they’re each other’s #1 on their best friend lists on Snapchat, and Chuuya’s been seen one too many times in his hoodies. People have also noticed how Dazai’s main muse for his volunteer hobby of polaroid photographer is the redhead himself.
But the pranks they pull on each other isn’t much of a ‘best friend’ thing to do.
Especially when one of the pranks get pulled so far,
That Chuuya is forbidden from seeing Dazai ever again.
And though he sees no good coming from such a forced separation, the one thing that can enhance their futures together is propelled forward at a faster speed than either of them could have ever imagined:
Coming to terms with their unusual feelings for each other.
