Summary
The tub cracked, the sound echoing in the bathroom. Mirabel flinched, recoiling in horror. They’d barely moved back in—why was Casita cracking again? She reached out a hand to trace it and it widened, spreading into the base of the tub. She jumped up and stared at her fingers, pulse racing.
She looked to the cabinet. “Was it me, all along?” she mouthed.
Casita seemed feverish and shook the cabinet with a resounding no.
Tears formed in Mirabel's eyes. “Casita…” she whispered. Was this supposed to be a gift? -

Summary
Casita had fallen, the Candle was extinguished, the Miracle broken, and their Gifts were gone - seemingly for good. Luisa had failed to prevent any of this, had failed in her sole purpose of protecting her home and family. As the Madrigals rebuild their house, Luisa finds she must learn who she is in the wake of so many changes. Can she put together the broken pieces of her identity?
Luckily, her family isn't going to let her try to shoulder that burden alone.
Work-in-progress, will update tags as I go. Related to the other stories in the series, but none of them are required reading for any other. They're just all sharing my particular interpretations of the Madrigals.

Summary
Dolores hears everything, from a pin drop, to a chorus a mile away. She hears every death, every child's first breath and every messed up event around her. She hears her uncle in the walls, slowly growing more lonely as time goes on, she hears her brother's struggles with his identity, she hears her cousin Isabela's rants on marrying Mariano and she definitely hears Mirabel's sobs and prayers, wishing that she had a gift. Dolores is DONE doing nothing, she may be a mess, but she refuses to let her family collapse and she won't let Mirabel follow in her self-destructive footsteps!
But what she doesn't acknowledge is that maybe she's the family member who needs help the most...
(Writing a summary is hard man, did I do this right? xD)
