Yagi Toshinori had realized that it already had happened, there were signs, of course, he knew of them, being depressed and the additional self-loathing drowning him whenever he saw his reflection, there were the blackouts too. He knew it was bound to happen, for him to break, and Yagi Toshinori never once thought of asking for help, or rather, no one would help- after all he did push everyone away.
‘...better…’ he idly thought bemusedly as he watched the news blaring before his sunken eyes. On the screen was an image of himself, his lower face hidden by a bloodied scarf with most of his features hidden by the shadows of the alleyways.
‘This…this is much better’ he whispered as he turned the tv off.
In the darkened screen, Toshinori saw his reflection smile.

Summary
After All Might's demise, the world recovered slowly from its state of disarray.
Young Izuku Midoriya always wanted to help people with a smile, and to be hero great as All Might himself was on his time. He never tought that all he had to do to kickstart his dream was to be himself. And meet with the skittish, Powerless and mangled Mr Yagi Toshinori: Japan's first (and retired) Quirkless pro-hero/hero personal secretary.
He never tought he could be a strong hero, even if he was technically a vigilante.
