Gregor has been dying to see his brother again, and after many years, he finally has a reason to. After this buisness trip, he will take some much needed time off to visit Seth for a while. Seems like a good plan! From the last letter they got, it seems like Seth's new science project is coming along well. Something about teleportation pods? I'm sure this trip will be smooth sailing.

Summary
Gregor has been dying to see Seth once more. He had learned all about Seth's inventions and studies of these "Telepods" through their conversations since Gregor arrived, so he was rightfully ecstatic to see what his younger brother had accomplished. Although, he wasn't prepared for the outcome.
Crossover fic between The Metamorphosis and The Fly for an AU I made called "Bug Brothers" where Seth is apart of the (modernized) Samsa family. Takes place around halfway through the movie.

“I’d argue that this situation is quite different. I am a fugitive,” Evey's voice trembles a little on the word, “and I'm on the run now. Just like you.”
“You could rat me out for personal gain.”
“I saved your life!”
In the cold silence that follows, Evey suddenly notices that V is breathing shallowly. Quick, shallow inhales, breathy and crackly.
“I am done with this conversation.” V spits out, and sweeps out of the kitchen, leaving Evey standing by the table as she tries to process what happened and what she had said up until that point to make him react like that.
How could they work together if they didn't trust one another? And what, for god's sake, was so important about that damn mask?
