Summary
Omen had gone missing. His agent tracker had been removed and tampered with, his traces were hidden, and for all Protocol knew, he could have been on the other side of the world by now. Maybe worse.
Cypher saw this as a problem. He decided he was going to fix it.

Summary
It wasn’t quite aftercare for the two, but it was something. Something was always seen better than nothing, even if it hurt more than just laying there.
It started out as a mindless habit of Cypher’s, something he’d do to himself now projected onto Omen. Then it happened after every time.
Now it feels like more than just a habit, especially when Omen allows it so willingly.
Are either happy with this?

Summary
On his file is a note written down by a nameless face for a faceless entity.
"Der Freischütz does not remember anything positive, such as the sparks of love or the joy of doing a good deed. He only reacts to dying things."
So when he gets used to a routine, given Insight work instead of his preference for Repression, he does not say much about it. No, he doesn't complain, nor is he upset. After all, he cannot feel a thing about it.

Summary
Cypher is not a good man. Perhaps he isn't a bad one, but Omen finds wrong in the things he has done and continues to do. He can't stand by after what he witnessed on the latest mission the two were part of. He can't turn a blind eye. Not when the man he respects so much may be worse than he could have ever imagined.

The price everyone else must pay for Cypher's lament.

Summary
Cypher is hired to look into a secret project that was completely wiped from existence in only three years. To be able to have more ammunition against Kingdom is more than enough motivation to keep him interested in it, but the one hiring him is none other than fellow agent Omen. After some time there's no denying that there's a lot of bad blood between the mysterious man and whatever this secret project Kingdom had was.

Summary
There’s a firm hand on his shoulder and Omen tilts his head to the side imploringly. “I need to assess your injuries,” he says, voice low over the quiet rustling of leaves.
Cypher’s head throbs dully, his sight blurring as dark spots flicker before his eyes. Omen dares to wait only a moment longer before he begins reaching for the mask, gloved hands sliding over the hard material and moving towards the back.
The words settle in, finally, and Cypher pushes past the pain in his arm enough to raise his gun. It points straight at the Radiant’s head. Omen instantly goes still.
“Don’t,” he rasps.
A warning, not a plea.
(The path to trust is a long and winding road.)
