He takes the whole bottle, chugging it like he’s a dying man in the middle of a desert, “Then why doesn’t he do anything about it?”
Tina looks at him with something in her eyes Gavin cannot describe. He had lost count of how many undecipherable looks he had been subjected to. Yet no one tries to explain what he’s supposed to see in those looks. Like he should just know what it means.
“Why don’t you?”or; Everyone else sees Nines as a good, polite, and overly patient Detective and Gavin begs to differ.

Summary
“It’s okay, it’ll be okay, I promise. It’s only us here, I love you so much.” He pressed a soft kiss into Gavin’s forehead.
Gavin gave him a small noise to indicate he could hear him, chest rising and falling slowly now that he was surrounded with comfort, away from the outside world and finally exhausted after the stressful and eventful day he had.
“I’ll be here when you wake up, we can talk about it tomorrow, just go to sleep, I’ll be here.”
