Summary
Neither of them knew where to draw the line between sacrifice and self-slaughter. Sugimoto never needed an excuse to immolate himself for love, and Ogata would’ve gladly offered up his soul to feel loved again. They were both martyrs for their own desires, and they matched like their spirits were sewn together a thousand lives ago.

Then, what? What was he supposed to have been done?
Maybe he should have indulged Ogata with all the fucking explanations he'd wanted to hear. Maybe he should have told him where he was so he could go meet him and put his jealous feelings to rest.

Summary
Hajime felt too old and too tired to be dealing with that sort of thing. He was supposed to be married, to have his life sorted out by then. He had no business worrying about kisses and online romances at his age. The whole thing was ridiculous, he was being ridiculous.
Otonoshin said it was okay, he seemed genuinely fine with it. He even promised not to speak about it again. Then why did he feel the need to talk to someone about it?
For the first time in his life, Hajime wanted to leave camp and go back home. He wanted to turn on his computer and talk to *him*. He had a feeling *he* would understand.
