Revenu s'installer à Karakura après plusieurs années passées au Canada, il mène une vie stable, entièrement tournée vers son travail à la clinique.Le retour d'Orihime Inoue dans sa vie vient pourtant tout bouleverser.
Fraîchement revenue d'Osaka, elle semble avoir changé. Plus réservée, plus secrète, Orihime porte avec elle des silences et des vérités soigneusement enfouies. Malgré les années et la distance, les retrouvailles entre les deux anciens amants se font sans animosité, presque naturellement, ravivant une complicité qu'aucun d'eux n'a jamais vraiment oubliée.
Mais certains non-dits finissent toujours par refaire surface.
Et lorsque les secrets d'Orihime éclatent, c'est tout l'équilibre fragile qu'ils avaient retrouvé qui menace de s'effondrer.Car ce qui reste de leur amour pourrait bien tout changer.
