Chuuya has always lived his life day by day, not even daring to hope for anything to change. The situation was as it was, and if even his father had ended up having to leave, it was that he himself had no chance of being able to do anything about it.
He had accepted the insults, never really being able to be close to his own, and even the unfair decision of the judge. He had supported everything possible, just keeping himself informed and defending his big sister with all his moral and physical strength.
But he was still a teenager, and as a result, it was gradually costing him.
This year is the highlight of his schooling, and he swore to hang on. Falling out of school was not part of the plan, falling in love with a new student unbearable but endearing...definitely not. -

The week itself wasn't even that hard, it was the usual amount of work, of dealing with Dazai quirks, taking care of his subordinates, his social and love life, murders, planning,...okay maybe it was a lot.
But Dazai was always hard to deal with, he did fine with many tasks all the time, he went to work no matter what and even executed his job well...

Summary
As far as closing the year goes, this is a pretty good way to do it. Having time to himself in a beautiful city like Kyoto is more than Chuuya can ask for. Jogging by the the Kamo River, Chuuya enjoys the sights and sounds that surround him. The sun is slowly coming up, casting a soft glow onto the river, and IS THAT A PAIR OF LEGS STICKING OUT OF THE WATER?
