Summary
Doctor W. D. Gaster and his two adopted sons Sans and Papyrus have recently settled down after the Underground has been freed by the last fallen human child. The monsters live now a rather peaceful life on the surface world without a worry in their mind. Giftmas is just around the corner, and everyone is in a festive mood. Everyone? Not quite. Gaster tries to enjoy the Giftmas spirit, but the familiar sight of the human world stirs up some rather sour memories in his mind that he tried to get rid of a long time ago.
This story follows the life of Doctor W. D. Gaster shortly before he became the new Royal Scientist. It showcases the role he played during the war between monsters and humans, the sacrifices he made during those gruesome time and the scars he bore. You’ll learn how he became a father and what struggles he had to overcome to get to the point in time he’s at now.
Buckle up because even if Gaster is nice I probably won’t. I’ll ensure that there are plenty of wholesome chapters, but I won’t get to those until the first major character ark came to an end. Maybe I’ll sprinkle some in-between if I myself can’t bear the suffering any longer.
