Summary
After the event of the seventh Lostbelt, The Storm Border finally got back in Novum Chaldea as they celebrate their hard-won battle. Fujimaru Ritsuka requested a few days of rest out of exhaustion. Director Goredolf and Da Vinci agree wholeheartedly as they grant it. Unfortunately, an unstable grail was located in an odd parallel world. Planning to investigate it, Chaldea once again hesitantly decides to send the Last Master of Humanity. With no other choice, Ritsuka agrees to be sent there hoping to solve it quickly. In the midst of their preparation, a strange energy was felt in the command room before a rift suddenly opened behind him as he was pulled in. Not one servant was able to travel with him as he was taken to the unknown world all alone.
With nothing but his wits and the "gifts" of his servants. Ritsuka will have to investigate and solve this unknown world if he ever wants to return to Chaldea again.

Izuku is excited about the MMO game that is Sword Art Online. His mother got it for him as a reward for his good behavior with the stipulation that he doesn't play it enough for it to affect his grades. For someone quirkless like him, the idea of upgrading his player into a strong and brave warrior felt like a dream come true.
He just didn't account for the head game developer to trap everyone inside. Nor did he account for the found family he got in the sociopathic dumpster fires that are Kirito and Asuna and their unhinged AI daughter.

There was a lot Ritsuka had experienced over the last few years trying to save the world. But times to relax were few and far between. In between writing a manuscript with Jeanne Alter's scrapped Doujin ideas, helping her to win the ServFest contest, and BB certainly being a source for more problems, he was starting to worry once again if there would be any time to relax.
