“Are you sure this is coffee? Holy shit,” Mercutio says in one breath. Benvolio raises an eyebrow in amusement. Before he can respond, Mercutio starts again, “Did you put cocaine in this?”
“No cocaine, yes coffee,” Benvolio responds with a huff of laughter. Mercutio looks unconvinced.
“Here,” Mercutio says, stuffing a 10 dollar bill into the tip jar.
“Woah, serious?” Benvolio blurts out. “That costs like… way more than the drink.”
“I have to pay you extra for the cocaine you definitely stuffed in here,” Mercutio nods seriously. Benvolio laughs incredulously.

i have said it once and i will say it again. i Love fanfics with rom-com shenanigans. this one was truly amazing and i read it in day. it had everything i could ask for: pining, florist and tattoo artist trope, an epilogue, and just a beautiful story. absolute 10/10 read!! <3
