Summary
A polaroid lies face down, stark white against the carpet. Will crouches, breath already unsteady, and turns it over. His breath caught in his throat as the image came into focus, sending a jolt straight through him. Mike's jeans strained visibly against the thick bulge at his crotch, the denim stretched taut over an unmistakable erection.
Dear Will,
If you wanted to see me with a boner, you could've asked instead of drawing it.
Love, MikeOR
Will accidentally gifts Mike an erotic drawing of him, Mike returns the favor by sending him polaroid evidence of what his boners really look like.

Summary
Will never thought his life would play out like a film. He was just the background noise, the extra on set. He never expected to be the kind of person movies make the main character. The kind of person who gets swept up in a story to be told.
Then Mike showed up, and the scenes started feeling like they were his.

or: Will Byers moves to Hawkins from California, gets an after-school job at the video rental store, and meets Mike Wheeler — who, it turns out, might be checking out more than just movies.

Summary
In the Kingdom of Hawkins, Prince Mike (a one) had a difficult choice to make. Thousands had applied for The Selection and twenty candidates were chosen. It was out of those twenty that he would have to choose the person he would marry. The person who he would have to trust to support him. Too bad Mike didn't want any of it.
For Will Byers, a five, The Selection was a pipe dream. He knew he would never win, would never even get chosen. But if it meant giving something back to his family, after all they had done for him, well he would try anything once. Even if that meant giving up his chance to find true love.
For those lucky enough to be selected, it’s the chance of a lifetime. For Will, he just wants to be selected so he and his family can become threes and they can finally stop worrying about money. Everyone knows The Selection is rigged. Will knows he won’t find real love. Right?
Aka a Stranger Things/The Selection crossover.
