Victoria tells him about Kev dying and he hates that he feels pity. Not pity for Kev – god, no, never – but for Robert. He doesn’t understand it, whatever the fuck was going through Robert’s brain when he was behind bars, but he knows it’s complicated. He knows Robert barely understands it himself.
But they were married, and Robert lost his husband.
Whatever those feelings were, he must be hurting.
