Summary
Felix had known for a long time that he was in love with Sylvain, but he also knew the nature of the man he loved. Sylvain would never want Felix, so for the sake of their friendship, Felix would take his secret to the grave.
Only Felix had never imagined he would be crawling toward his grave like this, hunched over and suffocating on flower petals. It was more important than ever to guard his secrets now, but it would be difficult.
It’s hard to keep secrets from someone when you’re trapped in a tiny cabin with them, buried under almost three meters of snow.

Summary
The world had always been black and white for Felix Fraldarius. Things were good or bad, right or wrong. It was all so simple.
The world had also always been black and white because Felix had not yet met his soulmate. Or perhaps he had, but he would not know until after his thirteenth birthday, when that special person would flare into color and change his life forever.
In Felix’s black and white world, promises were ironclad. So when Sylvain turned thirteen and broke theirs, he was devastated.
It doesn’t get better when he finally figures out why he lost his best friend.
Maybe Felix is just doomed to walk this world alone.

My sources tell me his persistence is to be put to the test as he has been tasked with assisting Duke Fraldarius in his unsuccessful forays in courtship. Summary
He hasn’t looked at Sylvain’s eyes since he’d gotten here, not really, or at least not like this. It’s funny; for how long he’s seen them, Felix probably couldn’t have recalled the color if someone had asked. Such an oddly light brown shade, nearly like his cello. It was everywhere in his life. Maybe that’s why it had escaped him.
It’s nearly frustrating, to think he could have forgotten something so important, and yet that thought makes him more frustrated still. Wasn’t that the goal, to forget all about Sylvain Gautier?
After barely finishing his undergrad studying cello performance, Felix is stuck in every aspect of his life: his career is going nowhere, he can't stand talking to his family, and he has maybe two friends. Crashing at Ingrid's apartment was all he had, until she suddenly decided to let world-traveling, friend-abandoning, breakout New York Times author of the year Sylvain Gautier crash with them, too. To make matters worse, she panicked and lied to her father by saying Sylvain and Felix were dating. Now, Felix can't run away from his art, family, Sylvain, or himself.
