Summary
Gi-hun used to believe in forever. When he married In-ho, everything was perfect until it wasn’t. Gradually, the man he loved became cold, distant, and indifferent. Conversations turned into arguments, nights became filled with loneliness, and their love faded into something unrecognizable. After years, Gi-hun finally decides he’s had enough. He wants a divorce. He’s ready to walk away, but In-ho gets into an accident and loses his memory. Suddenly, In-ho is the man Gi-hun once loved again—gentle, affectionate, and devoted. However, the past still lingers, and Gi-hun doesn’t know what to do. Should he give in to this version of In-ho, the one he thought he had lost forever? In-ho never intended to lose player 456 out of his sight. Therefore, he starts a new game, not realizing he might end up losing to Seong Gi-hun, as he accidentally wakes up long forgotten feelings.
Or: during the last two years, In-ho manages to gain Gi-hun's friendship, sneaking into Gi-hun's heart with a sole purpose to keep the man from destroying the Squid game. Little does he know that in a game like that there can't be no winners.

When In-ho gets a text from an unknown number gushing about "last night," his nosy little brother Jun-ho wastes no time stirring up chaos. One teasing reply turned into an ongoing conversation, and now some poor guy keeps texting In-ho for dating advice. At first, In-ho finds it amusing. And somewhere between giving dating tips and late-night texts, he realizes he might just be falling for the stranger on the other end of the phone.
