Look. Sirius was, if pressed to admit it, rather high. The floor of the bar was tacky, and he thought if it hadn’t been so fucking loud he could’ve heard his boots make that funny velcro noise as he lifted his feet. It was hot, and everything was a bit too much, and he’d lost James an amount of time ago. Maybe it was twenty minutes, maybe an hour, and he really should go look for him, but the band had just made their way onto the stage, and the bassist.
The bassist was. Well… he was so hot.
And Sirius fucking loved him. Loved loved loved him.

I know logically that there is no good reason to cheat on your husband, no matter how insufferable he is or how much you despise each other. His hand on my neck goes to my hair. Every touch is so gentle that I never want him to stop touching me. I want to be covered by him and his soft kisses.
As a last-ditch resort, Henry marries his childhood enemy-with-benefits Richard Peele. In need of a distraction from his tumultuous marriage, he joins a local Shakespeare production where he forms an unexpected, and risky, connection with a member of the orchestra.
