But most importantly, he’s also a husband.
A father.
They’re barely ten steps ahead when Megumi stops walking and pulls on their intertwined hand.
“Carry me, Papa. Megumi is tired.” He says without looking at him, embarrassed.

Gojo is angry at him.
Megumi knows that much.
He’s also self-aware enough to know that it’s mostly his fault, but it doesn’t mean it doesn’t hurt being treated this way.The third time his call is rejected, Megumi never bothers anymore.
If Gojo wants to play it this way, then fine. He can live without the older’s presence. He can go on alone just fine.Gojo sow the consequence.

Summary
Toji made a deal with Gojo. It may be better to say that he was threatened by Gojo. As his dying wish, he left Gojo to care for his son. Upon waking, and not dead, Gojo said only two words to him:
"Take responsibility."
And so his domestic life began.
