Kirishima paused, his raised hand suspended in air. He studied the trembling form beneath him, noting the genuine remorse in Bakugou's voice. His red eyes narrowed slightly, searching for truth beyond the submission.
"You're sorry, huh?" He ran a thumb over the heated skin he'd just marked, the touch gentle now where it had been harsh before. "Do you even remember what your bratty ass did to earn this punishment?"
Bakugou turned his head, pressing his cheek against the leather to look back at Kirishima. A tear tracked sideways across his face, catching light as it traveled. He bit his lower lip, an uncharacteristically vulnerable gesture from a man who typically spat fire rather than admitted fault.
