Summary
Leaning in, Jace stopped with their faces just shy of touching and blew a long stream of smoke into Yaz’s mouth. Yaz took it back, held it in her lungs; let it pour like liquid from her lips. Through the smoke, she and Jace gazed at one another. At one another’s mouths. The joint in Jace’s hand went out.

Summary
Princess Yasmin Khan had been raised knowing two things.
The first, is that the war will never end.
However when that was proven wrong, she learnt the second: That one day she will be the wife of the living Goddess of Gallifrey.
To most people, the first was no longer relevant, a memory of knowledge now shifted to victory or defeat depending on where you kept your feet.
To Yaz it became all the more relevant when she realised the meaning of the second.

Summary
“Hiya,” Theo greeted as she fiddled with the volume of her music.
“Alright,” the passenger greeted back.
Theo checked her app. “Yasmin, right? Westfield Terrace?”
“That’s me.”
––––
Theo's return to Sheffield was meant to be her second attempt at a fresh start. Driving an Uber for a living hadn't been the initial plan, but maybe that wasn't so bad when a particular passenger ended up in her backseat and turned her world on its head.
