Ilya moved to sit in the second chair. Shane bristled, hands trembling.
“Don’t.” Shane snapped. Ilya froze, glancing at Shane with a concerned and confused expression. Shane inhaled, then exhaled. Guilt crawled up his throat. He was being fucking insane.
Still though, what if he wasn’t being insane? What if there was a 0.1% something bad would happen to Ilya?

The younger boy allowed himself to watch the elder closely while waiting for him to wake up. Staring at San’s sleeping face, Jongho noticed how attractive the older boy was, with his fine nose and defined jaw. His sharp eyes promised danger to their opponent, yet they always turned soft whenever they were directed at the younger boy. Delicately tracing the bottom of the elder’s full lips, Jongho wondered how it would feel touching his own. Would the butterfly flutter in his stomach like his eomma told him? Or would his brain melt from the intensity of the kiss? Oh, how he wished to be given the chance to spend more time with San, to know more about each other, and to grow up together. Deep down, he knew that it was just a delusion, as both of them were stuck in the arena as disposable pawns for the Capitol’s entertainment.
