it's too calm for what they're used to when the sun shines, gunshots raging out and people dying all around them. they're more used to the sickly aroma of death and the nauseating smell of blood that lingers in the air than they are perfume or any other pleasant scent. some may find their job tiring, frustrating, impossible to do - there are the days where even they feel as if they can no longer do it, but it's they're duty and they're bound to it.
or, steve takes care of captain like he always does. also, they're domestic as fuck.
