The same absent-minded pressure of Namjoon’s fingers through his shirt. That same stupid, gentle yah, Jeongguk-ah meant for him instead, and the thought was so vivid and scary that Jeongguk had to swallow hard.
Or: Jeongguk has always known Namjoon is his favourite person, and watching Namjoon be affectionate with everyone else forces him to confront a feeling he's been very successfully ignoring.

“What about you, then?” Harry asked, taking a sip of his ale. “You go to uni?”
Louis cleared his throat, clearly uncomfortable.
“Nah,” he said after Harry had already regretted asking. “I, um, I actually didn’t pass my A-levels,” he shared, voice quiet. “Well, I didn’t take my A-levels,” he corrected.
Harry frowned, taken aback.
“How come?”
“Circumstances,” Louis answered shortly, clearly having no interest in the conversation anymore.
Harry faltered.
“You know, you can always go back to—” he started, but Louis spoke over him.
“You know, I don’t see how it’s relevant to you fucking me later tonight.”
Harry blinked.
