Summary
Cocoa would make for a much better Main Character; Bassie knew this, and she knew it was only a matter of time until everyone else noticed as well. Cocoa was perfect: she was always willing to help, always baking up the most delicious sweets, had a bright smile that would turn Bassie's legs weak, a soothing voice that would be pleasant regardless of the words, and a charming appeal that even Bassie feel for. Anyone who didn't fall for such an obviously perfect Toon would be a fool.
Bassie was not perfect by any stretch of the imagination, but she wasn't a fool.
