Is this fanfic? I’m not sure? Regardless, it’s a love letter to Lucas.
It’s hella purple. Writing in this style was really fun, but it might not be everyone’s cup of tea.

It would be nice if Baek Kyung was allowed to live without complications.
If his father could just love him instead of treating him like a sad leftover of his mother and if he could stop using him for his own game like some thoughtless doll. If the smell of antiseptic didn’t make him feel nauseous and the sight of a hospital corridor didn’t cause his throat to constrict painfully. If he wasn’t trapped in a comic where the line between reality and fiction is a blurry tripwire that shakes with every tiny disturbance. If the girl he loved would simply love him back.
If Baek Kyung would simply love Eun Danoh. Which he does. But.
