Summary
In this world, there existed beings who could latch onto your consciousness and take control of you. Once they found a vessel, they could use it as a disguise, trick others into trusting them so that these beings could feed on their flesh to gain power. They had many names — monster, demon, leech… but one everyone could agree on was parasite.
Kazuha has had his fair share of experience with them, even heard of stories of these beings hiding their presence in objects, their victim clueless until it was too late. But there were scarce instances of these happening in real life, so much that it was eventually deemed a myth.
Kazuha would never have thought it could happen to him.
