Summary
There's a thrilled, twisted smile on the latter man, watching every one of Zanka's movements closely with fascination as he's slowly paralysed by toxins. Every little chopped breath Zanka takes, Jabber breathes in, takes note of how Zanka's ribcage expands as his back is now hunched and almost aligned with the floor.
His shoulder is twisted back, because even now, Zanka's left hand is still buried in Jabber's vest. The grip is looser, yet still holds on. Jabber's grin stretches even further, his eyes locked in on the roughed up knuckles, how aggressively they protrude from Zanka's hands.

Summary
Ivan made Till his anchor. If living without him causes Ivan pain, is there anyone he can fault but himself? If Till was nothing more than his tormentor, who weakened his hold when Ivan’s hands squeezed Till’s neck? Ivan did – for there would have been no liberation in Till’s death, just like there is no peace in Till’s absence.
The truth is that Ivan can be a functioning person, yet never human enough to be seen as such. It makes sense. After achieving a somewhat normal existence, the only thing making him teeter toward insanity is Till – always Till. He is also the only one making him feel alive.
Dramatically anticlimactic, but reasonable.

Summary
Adrien has mastered the art of the smile. Even while his mind is on poor behavior, when he's caught beneath a barrage of unkind thoughts to himself, he's still able to keep his smile. Attend his friends' parties, maintain small talk, get through the day — and hopefully his friends won't realize how messed up he really is.
Everyone is out-pacing him. While he's barely getting out of bed in the morning, his friends are making waves, changing lives, getting engaged.
He can't even get his girlfriend to text him back.
So, sure. Maybe he's not in the best head space right now — but 'suicidal'? Ladybug's certainly just reading too deeply into things. But if her concern for Chat Noir's mental state is enough to get her reaching out, well, he won't turn down the opportunity to chat with a friend. Besides, Ladybug seems to be having a rough go of it, too. Maybe they can help each other out.
