“Yeah,” Alex says, already getting a cup. “Iced hazelnut?”
“Uhm, yeah. Unless there’s something you’d reccomend…?”
Alex raises a brow. “Straying away from routine, huh? Hmm. Do you like sweet stuff or do you lean darker?”
“I guess sweet,” he answers. That Thing edges away just a bit. Socializing always helps.
“You got any allergies?” Alex scratches his chin, and Tim’s eyes track the motion.
“No,” he says.
“Cool.” Alex waves him off. “Go sit down and I’ll make you something I think you’ll like.”or, alex is a barista. tim is seeing things. they both get the help they need.

Alex doesn’t recall much by the time he regains consciousness, eyes fluttering open, bleary as the light pooling in hits him, causing his eyes to blink shut in retaliation to the intrusion that is light.
Beeping is what catches Alex’s attention, he hazily breathes and his chest contracts and releases with the effort and cold air slipping down his throat through something cold.
Cold and hollow.
Alex’s eyes shut again.

Jay hummed, continually working the stems through each other with his fingers. "Yeah. Sarah taught me how one day when shooting was slow." A smile spread on Jay's face. "Alex came over to me for a script direction question, or something, and saw me and Sarah picking dandelions. He whined about it, but… it was before everything, y'know? I could tell he was faking it. We finished the third one by the time Sarah was needed again, and she wordlessly placed it on his head."
