Hyeongjun’s drumming his fingers on the desk again.
He goes slow, then fast, without a specific pattern until it reminds him of a song and he starts tapping to its rhythm.
He should be solving the questions in front of him instead, like everyone else in this classroom.
But it’s his second exam today, fifth within the last seven days.Hyeongjun’s spacing off looking out the door when one of the secretaries walks over. He silently gestures from the doorway for Hyeongjun to come outside. Hyeongjun can’t even think of any reason why he would be called, but still complies.

Summary
Gunil’s mouth is so dry he’s starting to think there’s something wrong with him. With the part of his brain that fires away rapidly in successive thoughts; he wants Jiseok to push in harder, he wants to see Jooyeon take it, he wants to turn around but he doesn't. He’s stuck in bed hearing Jooyeon’s breathing progressively get louder, harsher, his noises breaking off, losing pitch.

“So, like, is he actually a clone?” Jooyeon asks, and Hyeongjun still doesn’t like being spoken about as if he’s not a real person. “He looks like you when we debuted.”
Hyeongjun furrows his eyebrows. “We haven’t debuted yet. It’s still a week away.”
The six in front of him share a look of disbelief.
“Hyeongjun,” Gunil starts, voice careful, “What year is it?”
“Twenty twenty-one.”
The expression of the others and their muffled conversation makes Hyeongjun think that right now, wherever he is, that answer probably isn’t true.
The week preceding his debut, Hyeongjun gets to spend a day in the future.

Jungsu just prods, “So?”
“...So?” Gunil repeats.
“Do you want Jiseok, too?”
Gunil tries to speak, but ends up with the words stuck in his throat. Why does it feel difficult to answer? Why doesn’t he automatically tell Jungsu no? Why does the idea of saying no feel like a lie?
Is it because of how the sound of Jiseok’s laugh alone can make his day? Is it because he always sneaks a glance when Jiseok wears that old shirt that shows a sliver of his tummy? Or because since that night, he keeps feeling the usual warmth of fondness for Jiseok sink lower into his gut?
Gunil clears his throat. “Do you?” he asks instead.

Gunil's best friend and roommate Jiseok keeps accidentally interrupting him and his boyfriend Jungsu. Well, it was an accident at first—now Gunil just can't get Jiseok out of his head, and Jungsu is all too eager to indulge.

“Quit with this shit,” Hyeongjun snaps. “I don’t want to deal with you today.”
“’Deal with me’? Am I a problem to you?” He doesn’t sound saddened, he sounds irate.
He gets closer again, he steps into Hyeongjun’s space, and with his angered, pre-rut Alpha scent swarming right in Hyeongjun’s face, he can’t stand it. Adrenaline rushes in his veins and he shoves Jooyeon again, harder this time, and it nearly sends him to the ground. Hyeongjun isn’t strong by any means but he can tell Jooyeon wasn’t expecting it. He rushes at Hyeongjun, and suddenly, they’re both on the floor.
