AU - Minhyeong is a 20 year old rookie adc and has been part of the main HLE roster for less than three months when things go horribly wrong. It’s truly a case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time when he accidentally enters the rut room of another team’s alpha while abroad for an international event.
The alpha is so deep in rut that no amount of reasoning can stop the man and Minhyeong not only finds himself mounted but also mated soon after. This means they are now forever linked.

Anyway, the point is that Minseok has to wait until they have some privacy to do whatever he wants, and that's hours away. He's going to wither away into nothingness at this rate.
Minseok slaps a hand over his eyes and groans. Wooje looks over at him with concern, mouth half-open to probably ask what is going on. But Minhyung's laugh cuts him off.
The youngest seems to realize that it's probably just the support being dramatic about his lane partner's looks; Wooje's suffered through enough of Minseok's rants to learn that sometimes he needs to just let Minseok freak out in peace.
Minseok regrets (read: loves) having a very hot boyfriend.

Lucky for him, Minseok has a short fuse, and absolutely no chill when it comes to other people sniffing his omega.

If Minseok is still in pre-heat, it usually means one or two things:
One - he’s still irritable, giving Minhyung the cold shoulder whenever the alpha isn’t in his weirdly specific radius: hover too close, and Minseok goes to Wooje, practically drowning himself in the other omega’s scent. Drift too far, and Minseok starts loudly talking about picking Twitch support in their next scrim.
Two, and perhaps the most important part - when Minseok succumbs to the hormonal urges of his preheat, he does so with a scowl on his face, frustrated by the lack of control he has over his own body. To compensate for this, he takes control of Minhyung instead, dominating and teasing him within an inch of release until he ends up in tears.
“Minhyung, this needs to be off,” Minseok says, and well, Minhyung's suspicions are confirmed.
