Marc sees no danger in occasionally texting his former-idol-now-arch-enemy, since he knows he's been blacklisted on Valentino's phone for a long time. He amuses himself with random one-sided conversations, and tries to pretend it doesn't hurt that every message goes unanswered.
Until one lazy Sunday morning, Valentino actually answers.
14 hours later, Marc's in Tavullia on the back of a promise and a lifetime of want. As long as they don't talk, everything will be fine.
Only, Valentino really seems to want to talk.Two things are for sure: the Academy boys are likely scarred for life, and if Alex Marquez could roll his eyes any harder, we all know he would.

“What is it?”
“I don’t know,” he candidly admits. “It’s got a weird name. It’s…coconut water based, I think?”
Marco grimaces.
“Coconut water tastes like it’s been in someone else’s mouth,” he shakes his head. And – oh boy. Jorge laughs. Hard, open-mouthed, genuine. Marco’s face catches on fire the moment he pulls him in a sort of tight hug, a display of camaraderie for sure, but it feels like there’s something more to it, something sizzling, bubbling, trapped right under the surface. Jorge’s right arm around his shoulders. His left hand instinctively flying to Marco’s chest to pat him – Marco wonders if it’s possible to feel someone’s heartbeat under a hoodie, then he decides not to obsess too much over it. Overthinkers will overthink, yadda yadda.
Still.
He’s not imagining it, the subtle hum of static energy between them. He’s drunk, of course, but not drunk enough to hallucinate something that isn’t there.
“You’re so funny,” Jorge ends up saying, a little bit too indulgently not to get Marco’s mind running wild.Bez and Jorge end up fucking after visiting the Aprilia factory.

Summary
Franco had watched him growing up on the TV, seen the pure raw skill Hamilton had in McLaren and in Mercedes, the way he drove on track throughout the years, the podiums and the race wins. The interviews and the photoshots. He's seen it all, like so many other kids and across the world. Lewis was a god in the eyes of so many children.
Franco was no exception, Lewis was undeniably a god, someone he'd never compare to.
Or, Lewis invites Franco to his hotel room and who is Franco to deny Lewis?
