He’s a responsible adult who knows how to take care of himself; he doesn't need McLaren to babysit him.

    Oscar huffs as he looks at himself in the mirror, “yeah… yeah, I know. I just had a feeling the whole time getting it fitted that my butt was definitely going to be a problem.”

    “Your butt is a problem?” Lando asks, swallowing what pride he had left.

    “I said, ‘Have you ever shaved before?”
    “What, like my face?”

    Oscar looks at Lando perplexed. Lando's known for saying some weird stuff. But this is even weirder. It would be a totally normal topic of conversation to anyone else, but to Oscar, who knows Lando, this is weird for even him.

    “No, I don't really need to.” He could shave. But he would much rather spend a few extra minutes in bed than hunched over a sink, looking like a bad Santa.

    “Why do you ask?”

    Lando flops back on the bed, shifting his feet. Oscar can feel his ankle bones move against his shins. There's a long pause and Oscar thinks that Lando was just curious about his shaving habits.

     

    “Do you want to shave me?”
