    Summary

Affection disguised as playful insults was something they’d been doing for years and was part of their dynamic, but maybe it wouldn’t hurt for Tobio to be nicer to Shouyou sometimes—in a more romantic sense. They were both adults now and while their juvenile habits were familiar and fun, maybe something a bit more normal and mature could be good too.

After overhearing a private conversation in the Schweiden Adlers locker room, Tobio gets an epiphany and tries to be more romantic in his relationship. As expected, he fails miserably.

"Speaking of, Tobio never told us about you,” David informs him breezily, before gesturing between the two of them. “So, how did this happen? How long have you been together?"

Shouyou glances at Kageyama with barely suppressed panic and finds his wide-eyed gaze already on him.

"A few years," Shouyou answers quickly, sticking as close to the truth as possible.

"We went to high school together," Kageyama adds in a stilted voice.

    or

After an awkward encounter, Hinata is introduced to the players of Ali Roma as Kageyama's boyfriend.
