Matthew is silent, but he's persistent, so he sits down on the hotel bed with his back toward Connor. Connor shuffles around so he’s sitting up against the pillows.
“What are you doing here Matthew?” he finally asks, tone soft and tired, lacking the aggression from before.
“Oh, we’re using my government name.” Matthew jokes, “Okay,”
“Matthew.” Connor demands, Matthew curses in response and turns to look at Connor.
“I just wanted to see you.” he deflates.
