So, I hate how in this scene Robbe and Sander don't really talk about why Sander went back to Britt and why Sander didn't want to go to the police, even though this was the perfect scene for them to have this talk. Summary
Dennis learnt that being from a big family, when you were useful, people relied on you and wanted you around. He always kept the apartment tidy and offered to cook so Trinity would keep him living with her.
When Jack and Robby invited Dennis into their marriage, he knew he needed to stay useful so that they kept him around. The married couple had a lot of inside jokes and could read each other so easily. Every time Dennis felt left out, he cleaned something or completed a chore around their house.
It was never enough, he needed Jack and Robby, but they will never need him. Right?
