Summary
Yuri Lowell is a young man who has returned to the university after several weeks’ suspension due to fighting on campus. Nobody knows how he wasn’t expelled, but that’s nothing for Estellise to judge. Not even if she knew the guy could she have judged.
Also, there’s a new kickboxing gym that’s opened up in town, and Estellise wants to go only because Judith had said she was going. She didn’t exactly tell Estellise about her going, but she was in the same room as she was as she talked about it, and it seems like she’s willing to have an audience, so she figures it’s as much of an invitation as any could be.
These two things can’t, and shouldn’t, be related to each other, though. Right?
(She wants to pet that dog so badly, and she will, or her name isn’t Estellise Sidos Heurassein!)

This is a story where the world isn’t dying and its people aren’t as evil as they could be, though they both still have their jaded sides. Lessons will be learned, but hardships will be overcome all the same, too.

Song Lan and his husband, Xiao Xingchen, are on a date. Xingchen is the one having fun, but Song Lan is more than happy to simply watch him, given that his husband’s joy is contagious.
At least, he was more than happy with that...up until he spotted a claw machine and decided his husband deserved something from it, anyway. That put a hold on his ability to watch over Xingchen.
Ah well. Nobody hates gifts, right?

He flails his arm up against Endo’s, shoving him off and hissing at the drag of his nails. Endo watches him, amused, as Akihiko takes several steps back, out of reach. “See? You’re used to it.
