Max is already lounging on the backseat with his drink but he seems to sense a new pair of eyes resting on him. His head snaps up.
"Lewis!" he smiles brightly and Lewis waves at him before getting into the car, squeezing against Max to make room for Gianpiero.

Summary
Lewis and Max try to hide their relationship. It's for the best, they both know. It would only make life so much harder for the two if they were out. Sometime, someday they would be, but maybe when they weren't rivals fighting for an all important championship, constantly being pitted against each other.
That, however, does not stop them from trying to see each other at every moment, in the paddock or not. So, inevitably, there are some very close calls. And then just the call.
