Technically, Spock thought as he readied himself for another day aboard the Enterprise, he and Nyota had not been breaking any rules during their time together at the Academy.
She’d kissed him, after all. There were no rules against students kissing teachers. Such instances were typically spontaneous decisions. To ruin a young cadet’s future because of one impulsive, ultimately harmless choice would be unjust. So no rule was broken.
Whether or not he’d kissed her back was unimportant.

Prompt:
Let us assume that Thor, being big with golden hair and blue eyes is the Asgard ideal man.Now let us assume that Loki is not. He's got the height but not the muscle, his hair is black and what's with the green eyes? Green? Seriously, yuk!
Anyway, due to everyone on Asgard thinking Loki is actually quite hideous he has never managed to talk anyone into going to bed with him, either as a one night stand or a serious relationship. He tried hard in the beginning but the constant polite declines (and private ridicule that he listened in on) were too embarrassing and hurtful and eventually he just stopped trying.
Okay, so Loki's got the worst self esteem in history and is convinced he's the ugliest thing ever to walk Asgard. Now he's on Earth and fighting the Avengers.

This fic is wonderful and well-paced. The opening chapter is my favorite, with Loki trying to think of what he may have done wrong that would make Odin ask to see him and Odin beginning to realize how very little he knows or even sees of Loki. How he hasn't even had a real, private conversation with him in centuries.

[Gen] Loki and Odin, "No you can't have his head" H/C
I just found a version of the lip-sewing story in which the dwarf demands Loki's head AND ODIN REFUSES. Comes right out and says, "No, that's crazy, ask for something else."The dwarf then tries to insist and kick up a fuss, and that is when Loki uses his loophole, and also when, to placate the dwarf, the Aesir agree to the lip-sewing.
I'd like to see this, and then later Odin going to Loki with his godly manicure scissors and cutting the stitches loose while giving Loki six kinds of worried-dad hell along the lines of "you're going to be the death of me, don't ever do anything like that again, and by the way thank you for the wonderful spear."
