Summary
"And that sickly feeling started blooming in Astra’s stomach again. Something about tonight had felt different from the others. Evelyn’s hands lingered just a little too long, her breath just slightly too warm against Astra’s ears. It had been a minute since the two of them had gone to a party together. Evelyn didn’t like parties, Astra knew that, but she also knew there was no one she’d rather go to these with than her most beloved."
Evelyn hated parties. Astra wanted nothing more than to go to this party with Evelyn. But when Evelyn starts to notice guys being too pushy with Astra, she decides she has to do something about it. If it completely blows up their friendship, well, she'll figure it out.

Summary
"She knew vague pieces, honey-sweet childish vocals and gentle adults, frantic agents trying to tamper down their own fear, the twisting, tearing feeling that your life would never be the same. She knew Astra was a child in her mind, still trapped in that hollow, the weight of lives sacrificed bearing down on her soul."
It's only Evelyn who gets to see this side of her, the forever young girl carrying the burden of the greatest sacrifice. Over and over, Evelyn will fight for her every time.

Summary
"To Evelyn, it's not that they were distinct people, but just Astra was a side of the singer reserved purely for Evelyn. Astra was the one who woke up beside Evelyn in the morning, dark hair mussed and messy, the one who forced Evelyn to twirl and sing with her in their living room when she was excited, the one who let Evelyn hold her on her worst nights and promised love to Evelyn even after learning of everything that followed the former spy from her past."
In even their weakest moments, Astra and Evelyn are in love, regardless of whatever the world says around them. Everything could be crashing down and they'd still find each other.

Aya stood up straighter, finally taking in a deep breath. Mitsuki followed after her, keeping one hand tucked under the t-shirt, using her grip to keep her girlfriend close. “Sorry, maybe you just didn’t get the hint. I’m in a happy relationship and I don’t need people like you all over me.”
